Difference Between SSM4U 2.0, EzBiz SSM, MyCoID, and MyLLP

SSM offers differnt portals for online business registration, each focused on a specific type of business structure:

1. SSM4U 2.0: The latest and recommended portal for all types of business registrations and SSM login.
2. EzBiz SSM (also known as EzBiz Online): This is for registering sole proprietorships and partnerships.
3. MyCoID: This is for registering company registrations (Sdn Bhd, Berhad).
4. MyLLP: This is for registering Limited Liability Partnership.

While you can create an account on most of these portals, we recommend going with an SSM4U 2.0 account. As once you have created an account on SSM4U 2.0 you will be given access to EzBiz, MyCoID, MyLLP, MBRS, and DCTC Reader & Checker.

Guide to SSM Online Registration via SSM4U

SSM4U offers a user-friendly interface for SSM online registration. Follow these detailed user guidelines to register and activate your account:

1. Visit the SSM4U portal (https://www.ssm4u.com.my) and click on “Register Now.”
2. Choose your user type:
   • For Malaysian Citizen or Permanent Resident: Select MyKAD, MyPR, MyKAS, or MyTentera
   • For Foreigner: Select Foreigner National ID
3. Fill in your personal details:
   • Name
   • Email address
   • ID number
   • ID Type
4. Click “Proceed” to continue.
5. On the “User Profile Registration” page:
   • Create a strong password
   • Fill in all necessary information
   • For foreigners, provide passport information in the “Secondary ID” field
   • Tick the box to agree to the Terms & Conditions
6. Click “Register” and then “OK” to submit your registration.
7. You’ll see a “Registration Success” message on the screen.
8. Check your email for a verification link and click it to verify your email address.
9. After verification, you can perform SSM login to your SSM4U account using your email address and password.

Account activation can be done in two ways:

• Online verification: Upload required documents for review.
• Physical visit: Go to the nearest SSM branch for in-person verification.

Once activated, you can proceed with your business registration based on your entity type.

How to Register an SSM EzBiz Account

An SSM EzBiz account allows you to register a sole proprietorship or partnership online.

To register an SSM EzBiz account:

1. Go to the EzBiz portal (https://ezbiz.ssm.com.my).
2. Click on “New User Registration” on the homepage.
3. Fill in your personal details, including your name, IC number, and contact information.
4. Create a username and password for your account.
5. Agree to the terms and conditions.
6. Click “Submit” to register your account.
7. You will receive a confirmation email. Click on the verification link to activate your account.
8. Once verified, you can log in to your EzBiz account and start using the services.

How to Register an SSM MyCoID Account

An SSM MyCoID account allows you to register a private company (Sendirian Berhad) or public company (Berhad) online.

To register an SSM MyCoID account:

1. Visit the MyCoID portal (https://mycoid.ssm.com.my).
2. Click on “New User Registration” on the login page.
3. Select your user type (Individual or Corporate Body).
4. Fill in the required information, including your name, IC number, and email address.
5. Create a username and password for your account.
6. Accept the terms and conditions.
7. Click “Submit” to register your account.
8. You will receive an email with a verification link. Click on it to activate your account.
9. Once activated, you can log in to your MyCoID account and access the services.

How to Register an SSM MyLLP Account

An SSM MyLLP account allows you to register a Limited Liability Partnership online. You have to log in using your SSM4U account at the MyLLP portal (https://myllp.ssm4u.com.my/).
